Casual Wear While Running Errands

 On days when I have errands to do, I like dressing casual and comfortable. In this outfit of the day, I combined black and pink colors with a splash of leather to make the outfit more modern and trendy.  I kept the accessories simple with a rose Style & Co. watch and a pink beaded necklace from Forever 21. I added a nude handbag to complement the colors of the outfit.

Outfit of the Day: Revamping Thrifted Items

Japanese Gardens

 While enjoying a quiet afternoon at the Japanese Garden sat Fort Bliss at El Paso, Texas, I chose an outfit where I can showcase the ways I revamp thrifted or old items in my wardrobe to style them with new items to create trendy outfits. In this outfit of the day, I styled a polka dot dress that I transformed into a skirt. The detailing at the waist allowed me to transform the dress into a skirt by cutting the top part and leaving the bottom section. I styled this revamped dress/skirt with a casual black shirt with ruffled sleeves that I got from TJ MAXX. To complement the theme of the outfit, I kept the accessories simple by adding a black purse from Target and a black pendant necklace and bracelet from Forever 21. I finished the look by adding a pair of black dress sandals from Nine West. Visiting a replica of a Japanese Garden in a desert environment is the perfect representation of how things can adapt to new setting. The old items and thrifted pieces in my wardrobe have adapted to new fashion trends.

My favorite items in my wardrobe are dresses. I love dresses that are feminine and trendy. Outfit of the Day: Yellow & Grey Elegance

Birthday Outfit Overlooking El Paso Scenic View

For any special occasion, I like wearing clothes that make me feel confident. Enjoying a beautiful sunny yet windy day overlooking the city of El Paso, I highlight the elegance of combining yellow and grey colors together to style an outfit that is feminine and modern. For this outfit of the day, I opted for an elegant look. I styled a beautiful yellow pleated dress from Zara. I added a pair of metallic grey BCBGeneration pumps to add a bit of sophistication. To showcase the feminine silouette of the dress, I added a Grey Chain Pop Tweed Cardigan that dressed up the outfit and kept me warm on a windy day. I included a black vintage clutch to complement the look. For a statement necklace, I added a black and gold colorblock necklace from Forever 21.
