Once a vibrant and thriving Marine Corps Air Station, the military and cultural legacy of El Toro lives in the service men/women and community members who visit the site— now a community park with a carousel, air balloon, and gardens. On Valentine’s Day, USMC El Toro is a perfect place to take a stroll on a sunny day with the one I love to honor and celebrate his service in the military as a former Marine.
