Fashion Lookbook: Styling Skirts for Spring

Downtown El Paso
The revitalization of the old downtown area of El Paso is visible in the restoration of historical buildings with exquisite Spanish-influenced architecture. As a border town, El Paso’s rich history links two countries— Mexico and the United States. The revitalization of downtown El Paso and its rich architecture served as a source of inspiration for “revitalizing” the styling of skirts and transitioning them from a warmer wear to a more casual, chic style appropriate for warmer weather. Spring season is approaching. With a new season comes warmer weather. A skirt is a perfect staple wardrobe piece that can easily be transitioned into warmer weather. I styled four different skirts that can be worn for a more casual and chic look for all occasions. Skirts can be dressed for a casual day out while having a lunch date in the town or for a more formal wear appropriate for a day at the office. Downtown El Paso, Texas served as the inspiration for styling outfits highlighting the versatility of skirts in an urban atmosphere.
